An extremely large portion of the world goes back-and-forth, wildly swinging, from "everything in the news is a lie" to "it's true, I saw it on the news", without pause. With no hesitation at all.

It's more than cognitive dissonance, because at least with that, there's thinking involved. There's some kind of struggle happening, internally. This, there's nothing. It's a complete lack there-of.

Everyone recognizes when someone has no critical thinking skills as someone who believes everything, but, it also shows up in people who believe absolutely nothing.

Other factors could include fear, I think. Some are afraid of being excluded from "the group", and, it's true it takes more work to think than agree, so.. there's a lot stacked against the process of thinking things through, in general.

I can't help but laugh when someone says they don't believe anything the government or the news tells them, and then asks an Ai Chat Bot a question, and it slurps up all the SAME SHIT they say they don't believe in, and pukes it into their face again, and they go "SEE" haha.. good christ.

Where do you think that Ai Search got it's information from?! Magic Bot Land?

Hahahah.. remember that old YouTube video I made like 15 years ago, talking about jerking the wheel left and right driving down the highway? This is that, but with their entire life! To them, everything is bullshit, or everything is true, and guess what.. they never reach their destination.
